Peter Cuong Tran is a Manager of HR Technology for Hess Corporation, an independent energy company in Houston, Texas. Peter is a graduate of the University of Houston.

Peter and his wife, Terri, want to help improve the lives of the poor in Vietnam. Peter and two of their children participated in a Sunflower Mission workcamp and completion ceremony in 2004. In 2005, Peter returned to Vietnam with his entire family for another workcamp, and lead the Sunflower Mission team in 2 school completion ceremonies.

Peter and Terri have been married for over 20 years and reside in Clearlake, Texas near the Space Center Houston. They have four children.
