Minh Q Nguyen
Member, Board of Directors
Minh is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. He has worked in the aerospace and telecom industries for many years. He's currently an IBM employee based in Houston. He's a technical support representative for a High Performance Storage System project. This project is a collaboration among five Department of Energy laboratories and IBM, with significant contributions by universities and other laboratories worldwide.
He had a privilege to study for twelve years, from grade 1 to 12, under the guidance of the Christian Brothers, a Roman Catholic order of men. The Christian Brothers, often known as De Lasalle Christian Brothers, conduct private schools, ranging from elementary to university, to provide education to the poor and under-priviledge students all over the world. Minh has been actively involved with a group of alumni from his former high school to raise funds for several education projects in Vietnam.
Minh has been a member of Sunflower Mission since 2004 and has been a member of the SM Board of Directors since 2005. He attended a Sunflower Mission workcamp in June 2005 and saw the completion of 2 of our schools. Minh has successfully managed a number of school construction projects for Sunflower Mission in 2006 and is also a member of Sunflower Mission's Dao Le Scholarship Team.
