Back in Canada...and sleepless
Hi y’all (I can’t believe I am saying this as naturally as ‘eh’), I have safely returned to Canada and jet-lagged as you can see...
The last two weeks have flown by – I parted the team in SG upon returning from Con Dao (tx. Flo for picking this destination – there are lots of pic’s. to share with you). Unfortunately, I was not able to attend Cultural Night – hopefully, the team will share the pic’s. – I am sure it was quite eventful. It was difficult to say farewell to such a fun, loving and dynamic group. I will miss y’all (you can see how much the team in Texas has influenced me as I am saying ‘y’all’ again)!
This is my fourth time back to VN, however this trip has been most meaningful and adventurous yet. As I sat in the plane for 24 hours returning to Canada (no...I did not sleep all the way), I was able to recollect the experiences in the last two weeks and clearly remember all the little faces we saw...it was so satisfying to see the smiles on their little faces as we played with them and handed them gifts. I will share my thoughts in detail later...
Chu Tuan, Hoa and Quyen should be home now. I hope the rest of team enjoys the remainder of their vacation in VN!
Duc – you have two days to eat all the sau rieng you desire!
Hang & Truc – I hope you are enjoying the cool Dalat breeze!
Ai – there are lots of fruit yards in Tra Vinh, don’t hurt yourself climbing a tree to pick the fruit!
Uyen & Vy – did you eat snails yet? Let us know how many varieties you were able to consume (I envy your adventurous tummies)!
Jimmy – I hope you enjoy the rest of the time with your family. Btw., do you know where Quynh is? (j/j)
Quynh – I hope your allergies are better. I hope the dau xanh is coming handy. If so, please donate 500 VND (actually that is too little, it should be USD – capitalist?) to SM for every drop that you use – what do you think? I hope you haven’t used the whole bottle...
Safe travels home...

Welcome home
SM teams,
1st of all, thank you all for those meaningful blogs. Hopefully I'll have the chance to meet some of you through the trip pictures. 2ndly, if possible, please upload some of your pictures into Picasa website. This is an easiest and fastest way to transfer those images into our Sunflower Mission website.
