The Vietnamese Student Associations will be hosting a charity fashion show and cultural performance night to benefit Sunflower Mission, a local nonprofit that assists needy children of Vietnam by building schools and giving scholarships. The event is set for 6:30-10:00 p.m. April 3rd, 2009 at Kim Son (10603 Bellaire Blvd location).

Tickets are $20/individual ($25 at the door) or for a table of 10 $175.

Spring brings life to many growing things, and for those of us at Sunflower Mission, spring also brings trips to our schools to award the 2nd installment of scholarships, and planning the annual workcamp that occurs as soon as the US academic year is over.
