Sunflower Mission's 2011 Workcamp Has Completed

Dear SM Friends, Supporters and Members,

Greetings! Sunflower Mission's 2011 work camp in Phu Yen has completed, and the team has returned to the US. Those of us with family members and friends on the trip are thankful for their return and the experiences they've had on the trip. We can't wait to hear more of their stories!

Like last year, we have participants from the US/Canada side and participants from the Vietnam side. One group includes young volunteers from a children's shelter whose director is one of our work camp participants from 2008, Ai Vuong, who is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin. This year's work camp has the largest number of teenagers participating and we are very proud of their contribution.

Please read and share their experience at the following blog link: http://sunflower-mission.blogspot.com/.

Many thanks to all that have contributed to the success of this year's work camp - our funders for the classrooms, those that contributed towards school supplies and gifts, those that wrote the love letters to our workcamp participants, and so many other supporters that have supported the team in different ways.

Happy summer to all!

Best wishes,
SM Board of Directors
