Located near the border with Cambodia, My Phu village has had its share of hardships and neglect. My Phu has a population over 21,000 people living on farming and related work.

In August of 2004, the Board of Director approved the construction a four classrooms school in An Hao commune, Tinh Bien district, An Giang province. Sunflower Mission provided fund for 3 classrooms and the local community contributed fund for the fourth.

Consistent with our mission in bringing schools to the neediest of children in rural Viet Nam, Sunflower Mission has funded and completed the construction of an elementary school in Binh Phu commune (Chau Phu district, An Giang province).
