At 7:45am, many of our summer work camp participants arrived at the gate of The Dao-Le residence. Some of them drove straight from out of town at 4am and some of them flew in from other states. They were so punctual it was refreshing and it demonstrates their enthusiasm. One shared with me that he arrived at 7am but did not ring the gate because too early.

The event was a successful one. The organizers estimated that 160 people attended and $574 was raised for the Sunflower Mission. Once again, we would like to thanks the following organizations:

This year, Sunflower Mission hosted the annual beach retreat in Galveston. When the first group arrived at the beach house, we had the usual problem with unlocking the door to get in.

Once again, about 80 friends and members of Sunflower Mission (SM) gathered on Saturday Dec. 10, 2005, at the residence of Anh Tuan and Chi Duy-Loan, to celebrate SM’s third annual Christmas holiday.

Pearland, TX: Over 30 Sunflower Mission members and friends met for a fun gathering in Pearland to enjoy the seasonal favorite – crawfish! Thank you everyone for supporting Sunflower Mision. Special thanks to Alex Wu and Minh Dang for their special crawfish.
