In the past five years, Sunflower Mission has been recognized as the Charity of the UH-VSA. UH-VSA has been committed and dedicated to improving the lives of the children of Vietnam through education. Through the years, UH-VSA has put together many events including poker tournaments, bake sales, and fashion shows to support the Sunflower Mission cause. UH-VSA has raised over $17,000 for Sunflower Mission!

On May 23, 2006, per Ms DuyLoan Le's request, Mr. DuyTan Tran, CEO and President of Silicon Design Solutsions (SDS), presented 9 scholarships to 9 engineering students who are working at the IC Design and Research Center (ICDREC) at Dai Hoc Quoc Gia in Viet Nam.
