On March 27, 2011 the Friendswood, Texas community came together for a single purpose: to raise funds to build a three-classroom school in Vietnam in memory of Eagle-Scout hopeful, David Manusov. Our school construction projects for 2010 included:
Our overall goal for the 2010 school building program was to construct 10 new classrooms and to complete the maintenance program for all classrooms built prior to 2008.
A total of 11 new classrooms and 37 repaired/maintained classrooms were completed for the year ending December 31, 2010 in the following locations:

SM, VNHelp collaborate to build 4 classrooms in Bac Lieu Province
HOUSTON, TX – Sunflower Mission (SM) and VNHelp have completed building a 4-classroom school in Bac Lieu Province, VN. The completion ceremony for Cua Ga Elementary School was held on November 19, 2008.
Our 2008 School Projects
Our overall goal for the school building program this year is 15 classrooms. This goal was established based on our ability to successfully deliver the projects in the rapid cost escalation environment and the planned 2008 fundraising effort. Our target areas for 2008 are Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, Can Tho, and a province in the Central Highland such as Phu Yen.
