Gearing Up for Work Camp 2017!

Update: April 23rd will be our work camp orientation. At this meeting all work camp participants will have the chance to get to know each other; learn about traveling to Vietnam; and what to expect at work camp. We are very excited to meet our volunteers!

This will be our largest work camp — with more than 40 individuals participating from America and Canada and almost 20 from Vietnam.  The work camp will include many activities, including: medical service, LEGO Robotic Workshops, a 3D printing demo, arts  & crafts, and English lessons! Additionally, this year’s commitment by doctors in the U.S. and Vietnam will enable us to provide clinical services to our students at the school sites.

At this time we are no longer accepting applications. If you would like to be put on the wait-list contact us!

Sunflower Mission (SM) is pleased to announce that the 2017 Summer Work Camp will be held in Quang Nam province of Vietnam from June 11th to June 24th.

Work camp provides the chance for travelers to gain invaluable hands-on experience with students in Vietnam while offering enrichment opportunities found in few other volunteer programs. We are evolving our work camp activities and are very excited about the potential this year holds for our volunteer travelers!

Past participants treasure the lasting memories and friendships created during camp for many years thereafter. Visit our programs for more detailed information about what we do and read up on the FAQs regarding work camp. Download this sample itinerary to get a general idea of what to expect. Be sure to check out the 2014 work camp blog which chronicles experiences from different travelers!
