Short Film: Amongst our Stars

Debuting at our Beating the Odds Gala, Amongst our Stars takes a look into the lives of three Sunflower Mission scholarship alumni as they follow their dreams to pursue PhDs in the US.

Trang is a 2nd-year PhD student at Stanford improving the power of medical imaging through AI. Son is a 2nd-year PhD student at Texas A&M exploring drug candidates to fight common diseases. Kha is a 5th-year PhD student at Auburn studying differential equations that impact fields from physics to finance.

As they take on exciting new opportunities and experiences, they also reflect on the family and friends they miss back home. Through it all, Sunflower Mission supports them, as it will future generations of students whose dreams shine bright.
