The Life Jacket Friendship

The story behind the photo? We forgot to take off our life jackets after the boat ride! Yes, we walked around the entire day looking like bright orange penguins, but it was totally worth it.

Laughing at our own goofiness broke the ice, and we spent the whole day talking, laughing, and becoming close friends. It’s amazing how one tiny, accidental moment can spark a beautiful friendship. Big thanks to Sunflower Mission and Workcamp 2026 for the laughter, the memories, and the friendships!
