Strides for Schools: To the Finish Line!

Sunflower Mission recently crossed the finish line on our 3rd Annual Strides for Schools Runathon! Over nine days, 120 runners came together to log 1,607 miles and raise $12,899 in support of our mission.

Leading the pack once again, Alan Ta defended his title with another incredible 101-mile performance. Giolo Valfre Zaydenman followed in second with an impressive 76 miles, while Nathan Bui secured the final podium spot, claiming it by just tenths of a mile.

Across age groups, Reid Dang topped the under-18 division with 44 miles. Alan Ta also led the 18–40 category, continuing his dominant run, while Nam Nguyen took first in the 40+ group.

On the fundraising side, Loann Nguyen stood out with an outstanding $2,303.25 raised from 20 donors.
