The sunflower, resilient and bright, always grows towards the sun. It symbolizes strength, hope, and growth. Like the sunflower, we believe that, with educational nourishment, Vietnam and its students can also grow.

Classrooms Built
We select sites based on need, such as the state of current facilities and proximity to residential areas. Typical classrooms consist of poured concrete foundations, stucco-clad masonry walls, and clay tile roofs.

Sunflower Mission currently supports four scholarship programs that have awarded scholarships to over 24,000+ K-12 students and 2,400+ college students.

755 of our scholarship recipients have graduated from college with degrees in medicine, engineering, education, finance, and more.

Since our inception in 2002, we’ve made major strides in providing education and educational resources in Vietnam — all while spending less than 1% of funds on General & Administrative (G&A) expenses.
